Conflicts. I do have a short term immediate strike temper. I am a very laid back kind of guy, and thus very little upsets me. However selfishness and disrespect will irritate me and will lead to a confrontation. In a lot of these situations, I snap real fast, and say something rude and out of context. A couple of weeks ago, I flipped on a girl for cutting me in line to pay at the bar. The words I said I will choose to keep to myself at this time, because I know these words were wrong. After I flip, I calm down and start to laugh about how I handled the situation. I find humor in all most all aspects of life, and when my behavior is out of line, I laugh, I feel bad, and I apologize.
This approach may not be best, especially when you consider my immediate tantrum and realize how immature it is. However, whether I am right or wrong, I come to my better senses and I go up to the person and not only do I apologize, but I look to rectify the situation. In my 23 years of life only one person comes to mind that has ever had a serious problem with me, and truly did not like me,
Biggest Problem: Without a doubt my diabetes. Having to check my blood sugars 10 times a day, regulating the flow of insulin with my insulin pump, trying to live an extremely active lifestyle, and dealing with all the rigors that come along with beinbg a diabetic is hands down my biggest problem. Some mornings it is harder to get out of bed then others. Some days I get lethargic and lazy. Some days I have to pee more frequently then others. Every day is different for me, even though it can be tough at times, I am the happiest person and live my life the way I want!
Childhood at Home: Ordering in food, because mom was always working and could not cook. Friends always over, sleepovers, partying in the basement and getting away with it, playing pranks on my parents like being 14 and planting condoms all over my parents bedroom.
Major Issue: My older cousin passing away because of a motor cycle accent. Everyone loved my cousin. He was an amazing human being. After his death, it hit everyone in my family hard, especially in my home because my cousin was the son of her older brother.
Me as a Competitor: Everyone says that they refuse to lose and that is all great. However when I compete I do so with my diabetes and this is quite the challenge. In high school I used to have to test my sugars during time outs, sometimes I had to give myself insulin injections, other times you would see me running on the court chewing glucose tablets to raise my sugar levels. I did this all why? Because I am a competitor, and I refuse to lose. I am a FIGHTER!
Real World: I want to be on this show because I am a unique, goofy, outgoing, friendly guy that this world has not seen. I am a Jewish, diabetic from Long Island. I am wild, and my life is wild. Last weekend I got caught having sex by a girl’s mom who on this night ironically was throwing her daughter a 21st b-day party. I also eat differently. Who else do you know sits down and literally eats 3 boxes of ice pops in one sitting, and will share them with their dog? Who else do you know has to take off a pump to have sex? Who else is 23 years old, and has a mother call them five times a day, and can ask their mom to buy condoms and talk to her about girls and sex? I love the gym, but is their anybody else out their that is as dedicated as I am to go their on Thanksgiving, being all hung over? People will vote for me, because they will read this, see my videos and realize that I truly am unique and different!
Drinking: When I drink, I handle it well. Like I said I am not a confrontational person, and when am drunk I am usually the friendly guy buying his buddies shots at the bar. I get rather promiscuous when intoxicated, and for better or worse most of the girls I have interacted with have come from drinking. I get drunk, no doubt about that. One time I woke up sleeping in a hotel parking lot, using the curb as a pillow. Another time and more recently, I woke up with my head in a pizza box in a random person’s room.
