More Updates!

Hey everyone (all 3 of you who still come to this site)!!

First of all, let me say- though I'm a bit saddened by this site's deadness, I am in no way surprised. Once the lure of fame via 'Real World' wore off, people just didn't care. Sadly, I think that's what a lot of society is about these days- unless there is something glitzy or glamorous involved for someone, they won't take the time to put any effort into anything. Sorry, that's my inner sociologist coming out. Getting off my soap box now...

Granted, I'm guilty of not coming around as much, too. My school schedule has picked up considerably- I just finished an 8-week course about communication and culture. In addition to that, I'm also taking an acting class, a casting class (which is very interesting, especially keeping in mind the competition that happened on this site this past summer), a photography class (and coordinating the associated photo shoots), a class on media and social change, and a video production class (and working on producing a short film for my final project). I'm still working as a manager at the sports store and I picked up a second job as a barista in a cafe. And because I don't think I'm busy enough, I'm also teaching myself After Effects. ...sometimes I remember to eat/sleep/breathe, ha!

For real though, I do still pop by the site from time to time, I just don't log in hardly ever. I hope everyone is doing well- I am doing well, albeit very very busy. And who knows? Maybe they'll do another online competition sometime... you know I'll be here! I mean, come on- if you don't try, you'll never know, right?
