Question for all "men..."

What the heck are some of you thinking these days?! ;) Seriously... went out to a bar in Wrigleyville this past weekend and I'm not there for more than 15 minutes when this girl approaches me... she says:
"Are you single?"
I say, "No, unfortunately, I'm taken [completely lying... I'm thinking she was about to ask me out...]"
she then says: "Ooooh, aw, my brother over there thinks you're the most beautiful woman he's seen in a long time..."
And I say (without trying to look for him): "Then why wouldn't he come introduce himself?"
she says: "He's just so shy [Now, I see him, waving at me from across the room...]"
I say: "oh, well that's too bad... but yes, I'm taken... Have a good night!!!"

So here's my complaintssss...

DO NOT SEND YOUR SISTER OVER TO TALK TO ANY WOMAN you would like to start a conversation with!!!
1) The unknown woman will most likely think she is getting hit on by your sister.
2) It is completely UNattractive!!! If you cannot come over and just say "hi" yourself, how on Earth are you going to be a man to me?! This act of insecurity makes my head turn the opposite direction immediately--- I don't care what you look like.

I might be sounding like a little bit of a bitch, and I'm sorry if you feel that way, but MAN UP! I am quite a talkative lady and can definetely hold my own in a conversation so even if a man were to come up to me and just say, "hi, my name is _______." I could take it from there... Even though lack of confidence is Still a little unattractive. I would at the least be able to give you a little bit of credit for stepping up to the plate.

So, in conclusion - please, do not send your sisters, girlfriends or anyone over to come introduce YOU to someone you're interested in. I have two brothers and would never be a part of any situation like this...
