Interview with a paper

1)What’s your favorite Real World moment and why?

As I have been a fan of the show for many years, I have many favorite moments on the show that I will always remember. The numerous arguments, intoxicating fights and shocking hookups, the show always creates for some entertaining guilty pleasures. I do have one moment, however, that I absolutely love. The scene actually comes from the season that is currently taking place on MTV now, which is in Denver. Davis, the extroverted "homosexual" on the show certainly shares his opinions and thoughts in an abrupt, blunt fashion. There is one dramatic scene in one of the bars where Davis is having a deep, drunken conversation with one of his female roomates, Jenn. There just chillen at the bar gossiping and whatnot and Davis begins to dish out trash and negative comments about all the roomates including Jenn. The look on Jenn's face is priceless and Davis's drive to keep bashing the roomates further after seeing her reactions is hilarious and ridiculously suprising. Davis calls the girls ugly and fat and points out all the flaws he believes should go unoticed. The reason I like this moment is because this is the kind of thing that people want to see on the show. Instigation, drama, backstabbing and downright dishing of other people's insecurites. I see myself relating alot to him because I am the type of person that will say what is on my mind, even if it upsets someone in the process. This may sound a tad distasteful, but it really isn't. I just thought it was great because he knew that Jenn would immediately tell all the roomates and make Davis look like the bad guy, which she did and explode into another devious altrification!

2. Since no Real World season would ever be complete without embarrassing moments while drunk and in a hot tub, What’s been your most notorious moment of intoxication?

Wow! I don't know where to begin and I don't think that is necessarily a good thing either. Me and liquor don't always agree with each other. I have been known to create unecessary fights and literally go up to people ten times as big as me and run my mouth. I have had many instances of fights and arguments and extremely stupid, beligerent behavior. The one moment I wish I could take back due to a notorious excess of drinking would have to be last September at Gay Pride in Dallas. It was a rainy day and I was upset because it was my first gay pride parade to attend and I was looking foward to the drinking on the streets and just letting loose. After a couple beers later, I didn't care and we were having an amazing time in the rain. Everyone was screaming, drinking and we could barley move. My boyfriend at the time and I were already having problems and were fighting all the time due to my drunken behavior at times. We went inside Jr's after drinking like 8 beers and ran into alot of people we hadn't seen in forever. It was packed! People were buying me shots left and right and I was starting to feel out of my element. I remember running into a couple(boyfriends) and following them upstairs to drink more. I just left Michael(boyfriend at time) and my friends to be with them. All of a sudden, we are in the inside room making out and having three-way kisses. I didn't know at the time, but Michael was watching the whole time. I ended up leaving Michael and my friends with these guys in a cab to go back and drink with them at there apt. Well almost! Michael was chasing me out to the car and I kept yelling"these are my friends, F*** yall!" I got in the cab with them and 5 minutes later I realized what I had done. I started balling and called Michael apologizing and crying hysterically. The two guys ended up dropping me off on the side of the tollway at Circuit City where Michael finally came and got me. That ruined our relationship and eventually broke up and now we don't speak. I was in love with this guy, the only guy ever. I would do anything to take that back. Alcohol is not any excuse for behavior, but this never would have happened if I wasn't drinking. Oh well, you live and you learn right?

3. If you were cast as one of the Seven Strangers, do you think you’d ever regret it?

I don't really believe in regrets. I think everything happens for a reason and makes you the person that you are. Mistakes and regrets are different. I would definately not regret being on the real world. I want the experience of meeting complete strangers and having to face my insecurities on television. I think the concept is awesome. I feel I would learn alot about people and myself going through this ultimate experience. I am sure I would take in heat and alot of crap from people, but that is going to happen to me no matter what path I take in life, so I mine as well make the best of it. Life is about taking chances and risks, you would not know what is out there for you and what opportunites could exude your way. I love meeting new people and adapting to their personalites and I believe I would get along with every person in the house, even if they were not too fond of my lifestyle. Im unique and been told I am one of a kind. I don't think there has ever been a gay virgin on the show and don't even think I have ever met one to be quite honest. Definately not prude, just have morals and haven't met the right guy yet. I really think reality fans from all over would thoroughly enjoy my presence on televsion and I would give a whole new outlook on gays all around the world.
