I don't really like the people who made it. Probably won't watch it that much. I think next time they should give more advertising to the underdogs, so it isn't one person in the lead the entire time. They should obviously work the kinks out of the site but it's new so it's understandable. I think they ought to cast the whole show from the site next year. Maybe let the winner pick his/her ideal house. Most guys on this site would pick 6 easy white girls. I'd probably only pick 2 for entertainment purposes, my girlfriend, and then mix it up a little, get some variety. I think Real World is a great show because it's an original reality show, most of them today or horrendous. There is too much drama though. The Real World should go back to the basics. Get some more unique and normal people. Someone who is interesting for what they think and who they are. Not someone who is interesting for their sex life and drama. Although I have to admit, if it's sexy, I just might watch it. They have enough money, they could really just take any group of people and give them personal trainers to make them all beautiful before they go on the show. That would also give them time to get their life in order, and arrange for taking 6 months off from school or whatever they are involved in. I'll vote for Kanik and Katiebaby88. The rest of them I'm not really that drawn to.
* Describe your childhood and home.
I answered this in a previous blog, but I am an only child raised in a broken home. I went to Catholic school and was very sheltered. I entertained myself at home, which explains how weird I am. I am a jack of all trades, because of my upbringing which gave me the ability to adjust to any situation and rise to face my challenges. I feel like in my childhood I was held back, which is why I want to get out and see the world.
* Describe a major issue or event that has affected your family.
The suicide of my cousin Lynn happened when I started college. It depressed my entire family, because we all loved her. I didn't understand why it happened. It changed my philosophy about heaven and earth, and why bad things happen to good people. I kind of freaked out and abused my educational opportunities, like I didn't care about consequences. After we grieved we have all moved on. My aunts and uncles now have grandchildren to be happy about. I have put my life together and will be finishing school and going to grad school for hospital administration. Our family get-togethers will never quite be the same, there seems to be more distance between my dads side and my uncles side of the family.
* Describe yourself as a competitor.
You know, I just try to do the best I can, and have fun with it. I don't try to hurt other people to make myself feel better. I do get into and enjoy competition, and I like pushing myself and achieving my potential. Everyone loves to win. I think I compete wisely, as they say "work smarter, not harder." I have a lot of heart and determination. I mainly compete with sports or games. When it comes to politics, I try to avoid competitions like that which aren't worth my while. I do, however, tend to argue a lot, and I am very competitive when it comes to who is right and who is wrong.
* Why do you want to be on the RW? Why do you think others will vote for you?
RW would be an eye-opening experience. It would be good for me to get out there and see the world because "You have to see the world before you can change it." In health care policy making and leadership positions that I will be working in the future, skills I learn from an experience like being on the RW would greatly help me. I'd like to make a difference some day. Will people vote for me? That's up to them, voting implies freedom to choose who you vote for. I think they might like that I have a charm to me, I am funny, genuine, and have curly hair. But honestly, most people will only vote for beautiful half naked people who have the best marketing. That's all this really is, marketing yourself to as many voters as possible. That's why those in the lead are doing so well, because they get free marketing on the home page under the title of "current leaders." How is someone who starts out way behind supposed to win if no one even sees their profile? And it's annoying when people who have no lives have time to repost duplicate messages on hundreds of people's comments. They can play that game if it makes them happy, I just wanted to give it a shot, and if they like what they see, maybe I'll have a chance, who knows. And, I mean, why not??
* Do you drink alcohol? If yes, how do you generally behave when intoxicated?
Yes I drink alcohol. Anyone who has been in college or has turned 21 has probably been wasted, it's part of the college experience. I can handle myself when intoxicated, I have a pretty high tolerance. I just get really goofy and have fun. Sometimes I just kick back, relax and drink good beer, or sometimes I'll go all out with the hard liquor and see if I get hopped up enough to make some bad decisions... And I always feel like doing nothing the next day. Just sitting on my ass, and doing nothing. If only I could do it on the beach instead of in Kansas...
