Goodbye MTV:(

Well everyone I realize the deadline is tomorrow for this round and I will actually be out of town for the 4th of July holiday and will not be around a computer so I'm saying my goodbyes!! I realize I can not compete with the top 2 pages and I also know how much I would have to give up to go on this show, granted a lot of it would be worth it but there are a few things that wouldn't. This experience would have really opened my eyes to things that I may not ever get to experience but I wish everyone the best of luck that makes it to Round 4 and also that one person who gets picked for the house. I hope everyone has fun with the rest of this competition and I will still be voting for those in my house and my favorites, after round 3 I will update everything to show who is left that I would want to see on MTV. It was nice chatting with a lot of you and those of you who added me to myspace. Thanks for everyone who actually voted for me and supported me through 3 rounds! Best of luck to everyone and take care!! ~Luvs

Once Upon A Time... (Part 2, Round 3)

This is a long one..
Once upon a time in a far away land there was this child named Sara!! Okay so I honestly have a horrible memory and can’t remember a lot from my young childhood days. I know I was in a foster home for 2 years of my life and I can’t remember a single thing from it. Then the next stage of my life I was taken into an average home with a great family. I was a well behaved but could often times be an ornery child. I remember looking up to my sister a lot and her being older, I tried to be just like her. I did average in school but I remember a lot of my report cards saying that I liked to talk to much when the teachers were trying to teach. I was very involved with sports/organizations when I hit Junior High & High School.
One HUGE issue that has affected my family would probably be my dad’s health. He has numerous health problems that have been stressful not only on him, but rest of the family. We all felt helpless as he was in sooo much pain everyday and feeling so sick all the time and there was not one thing we could do to help him. My mom runs her own daycare for mostly low income families so with just her job, the hospital bills (on top of normal living expenses) kept pilling up; so that was stressful on both of my parents. All this tension caused so many fights between my parents and then my sister and I would feel caught up in it. It just wasn’t very good at all. about a month or two ago I went back home for the weekend to spend some time with friends from there and my dad; my mom was out of state visiting her sister. I went to a high school basketball game that night and told my dad that I would be home after the game and I would just hang out with him. well when I got home after the game that night I found my dad in a diabetic coma. That was the SCARIEST night of my life. I didn’t know what a diabetic coma was until after the emergency responders told me that was what he was having. I was actually scared to be in the same room as my dad as he was having convulsions and his eyes were rolling to the back of his head……then I felt like the most horrible daughter ever for actually being scared of my own father. The emergency responders told me that if they would have gotten there 15 minutes later that my dad would have died. Talk about a reality shock. I know he has had health problems and I know there has been talk that if he didn’t get healthier that he wouldn’t have a long life span ahead of him, but it NEVER sank in until that night. If you’ve read some other blogs you’ll know that I’ve mentioned that my dad’s health is doing sooo much better and life is really looking up for him. He is trying so hard to turn things around for himself and I give him so much credit as he is doing wonderful.
Now onto other matters….
I am a very fierce competitor. I’m not the strongest person physically but when it comes to a competition I will fight with everything I have. When it comes to verbal competition I’m not much of a fighter though. I don’t like yelling and screaming at people. When it comes to sports, etc I will fight with everything I have. When it comes to just a competition on who is going to win this football/basketball game….I will support my team till the end even if they are losing.
So why do I want to be on the Real World you ask? I think the Real World is a great opportunity for people to broaden their horizons a little bit (especially those who have lived pretty sheltered lives, such as myself). I mean how awesome would it be to go live with people who probably aren’t a bit like you and learn about them and learn how to live in maybe a completely different environment that you are used to. I know if I were to be on the real world it would be a complete culture shock to me. Right now I work an 8-5 business job during the week and then on the weekends I go out and have a good time with my friends. The Real World would be so much different. I’m sure if there is a job involved it wouldn’t be anything like what I’ve done in the past and my day to day life and social scene would just be soo much different then a small town in Iowa. I would love to be on the Real World with diverse people. I hope I don’t offend anyone but I’m not used to people that are too different than me. In “real life” if you don’t like someone or are too different from someone, you (at least I) don’t usually take the time to know them or become friends with them. The Real World would pretty much force me to do something like this. I don’t know how I would react living with someone that was complete opposite of me but I would love to see this. I think others will vote for me because I am a genuine person. I am sweet, sincere, outgoing, determined, hardworking, silly, and just a fun person to watch/be around. I don’t like to cause drama but once it’s started I love to try to get in there and get it all worked out so I think people would enjoy seeing this. I also sometimes can be a total blond (although I do believe I am very book smart) so this can keep people on the edge of their seats laughing and saying “did she really just say that.” Oh trust me people, u would love it, it's quite entertaining..
Alcohol brings out a whole other side of me that you don’t get to see everyday…. I’ve actually cut back on drinking A LOT since I’ve got my full time business job. There were a few months this past winter (despite my job the next day) that I would get drunk a bunch during the week and then on the weekends. I just get a crazy fun when I drink. I totally don’t care what I say or who is around; if you really want to know the truth about something that I’m holding back, get me drunk and it will all come out! I used to be a lot crazier (like in college) and would just be totally out of control/not care what I did at all. I haven’t seen that side of me in a long time and I hope it doesn’t come out now that I have a boyfriend and need to be a little bit more serious about my life. Now I usually get to the point where I don’t remember a thing from the night before or I tend to pass out a lot more than I used to. I don’t hardly ever get sick which is great but I don’t really do a lot of just hard liquor shots, those mess me up/make me sick and that’s when the too crazy side of Sara comes out.
